For men more than women, aggression is certainly more about.
But you are an alpha male and you have a lot of food.
But I don't need to be.
No, that's right.
So you're saying we should get rid of the drive.
Because there's physical competition, which we certainly do not need.
But think about what we get from the male.
So there is a sex difference in certain drives.
Men tend to be more driven to achieve specific and more narrow goals and like hyper-focused on certain goals and to achieve, to be the top of the heap in one thing.
Chess, I wrote some article on sex differences in chess and learned a lot because I was like, why are men consistently better at chess than women?
And they are.
Okay, so I'm really interested in that.
And what I suspected appears not to be the case in terms of doesn't seem to be explained by differences in cognition.
At least that's not necessarily the driving force.
What is, I think, the driving force is that boys and men are much more willing to spend
countless hours studying the moves and practicing and seeing their coach and trying to beat their competition.
And for women, there are other things to do that matter in their lives more.
Certainly there are some women who do that kind of focus, but there are way more men.
I'm saying this because that competitive drive, chess, I don't know what we're like getting out of that,
No, I have.
