Then add another morning, then another and start delegating one excellent zone task and then another and then another and small shifts will compound.

Six months from now, you could be in a completely different place, same role, completely different energy.

Now,

If it's a role problem, meaning the role is structurally misaligned, there is no path to change it.

You have to make a different decision.

You can stay for a season with a clear exit strategy, meaning you might say, I'm going to start, I'm going to stay in this role for 12 months.

To build whatever skill, because maybe the reason why you are in that role is because you saw that role could help you build skills that you're going to need down the road to continue to grow your career.

Right.

So you might decide I'm going to stay for 12 months or whatever period of time so I can build that skill that I need.

And then I will start looking and leave.

That means you going into the role with your eyes wide open.

You know that it's draining you, but you know it's temporary.

You know there is an end date.

That is a strategic choice and that is fine.

Or you can start exploring now.

You can start having conversations, start networking, start looking at what is out there.

Start designing your next move.

You don't have to quit tomorrow.

You don't have to have it all figured out.
