Well, we must be safe and OK here because if we were under threat, we would not be walking.
So we wouldn't have that rhythm of left to right, left to right.
We would be chaotic.
So we're obviously not in danger.
So let's send down the reassurances to the all the parts that were safe.
And so I love that.
And that's something that I've brought to this book, which I didn't have before, which I didn't have in my first book about anxiety, because I was so focused on trying to fix it up here.
When sometimes it's like, leave that, let that do its thing.
Meet the anxiety where it's where it is.
Give your body cues and signals of safety in small doses.
And it was your mind will follow suit.
So those things for me are, and to be honest, like I have to say this as well, like I don't have panic attacks anymore because I'm not, even if.
When was your last one?
I don't know.
That's amazing.
Like even if I was, but again, I think it's so important not to measure your success and how long it's been because I could have one tomorrow and that doesn't mean I'm any less capable.
No, no, no, no.
Because I know it so well and because I'm so like, it's how I would treat myself afterwards that would matter.
I think the idea of overcoming it is not switching off your stress response.
It's not it's not not having an anxious reaction to something.
