The leaders agreed Ukraine and America will continue working together to bring about a real end to the war and that lasting peace under President Trump's leadership can be achieved. I would just like to emphasize we have never been this close to peace and it's only because of President Trump that we are here.

I think a couple of years ago, as you all reported on the war, it was incomprehensible to have a partial ceasefire in this conflict. And today that is true because of the leadership of this president.

I can confirm that the president is committed to rebuilding Gaza and to temporarily relocating those who are there, because as I've showed you repeatedly, it is a demolition site. There is no running water. There is no electricity. The president wants these individuals to live in peace.

He is committed to doing that with this very bold new plan and we will continue to keep you apprised of updates as we receive them.

Let's roll through the biggest and most historic wins in this week's MAGA Minute. On the border, President Trump signed the Lakin-Riley Act into law. We've seen nearly 95% drop in the number of U.S. Border Patrol encounters on our southern border.

I definitely agree. And I witnessed this relationship firsthand every single day in the Oval Office and at the White House. And President Trump has tasked Elon Musk with administering his America First agenda, just like the rest of us who serve at the pleasure of the president, but most importantly, serve the American people.

More than 77 million Americans reelected President Trump to promote democracy. monumental, fundamental change to shake up the Washington swamp. And there's nobody better than Elon Musk to do that. He is a once in a generation business leader. He sent rocket ships to space. He's far smarter than many of the people who are grunting and moaning on Capitol Hill about these efforts are.

And he's the perfect person to help President Trump with this effort. The mainstream media wants to drive a wedge between their relationship, but they are failing. I'm happy to follow up and provide that to you. But we've been incredibly transparent about the way that Doge is working.

Did you announce your position to the rest of Doge? We we everybody knew and we said who she was to all of you because you are hounds in the media who are so obsessed with this for some reason. She's doing her job as the administrator of this organization. I know everybody's very interested in her name and who she is and what she does. They're just trying to do their jobs. And, you know, that's what she's doing.

So that's the way Doge has been set up and that's the way it will continue to operate.

I'm not sure if anybody in this room has listened to Mr. Bongino when he talks about the past corruption at the FBI, when he talks about his experience serving for the United States Secret Service. This is a man who loves his country and who has honorably served our country in ways that many people have not.

He understands the depth of the corruption at these institutions, which the American people re-elected President Trump to shake up. And I think it's quite despicable to see many networks in this room who have had chyrons on their television screens labeling Mr. Bongino as a far-right podcaster. He is not. He is a former law enforcement agent.

He is a former Secret Service agent who put his life on the line to protect this country. And that is why the President of the United States has entrusted him for this important role. He's also an outsider to this Washington swamp. And we often see that when outsiders are appointed, to such coveted positions.

A lot of people in this city get very, very nervous, and they should be, because Dan Bongino and Kash Patel and Attorney General Bondi are focused on rooting out the corruption at these agencies and ending the weaponization of government once and for all.

He's actually not implementing tax hikes. Tariffs are a tax hike on foreign countries that, again, have been ripping us off. Tariffs are a tax cut for the American people. And the President is a staunch advocate of tax cuts. As you know, he campaigned on no taxes on tips, no taxes on overtime, no taxes on Social Security benefits.

He is committed to all three of those things, and he expects Congress to pass them later this year. The Press I'm sorry, have you ever paid a tariff?

And ultimately, when we have fair and balanced trade, which the American people have not seen in decades, as I said at the beginning, revenues will stay here, wages will go up, and our country will be made wealthy again. And I think it's insulting that you're trying to test my knowledge of economics and the decisions that this president has made.

I would reject the premise of your question that this forces the United States to be entangled in conflicts abroad. The president has not committed to putting boots on the ground in Gaza. He has also said that the United States is not going to pay for the rebuilding of Gaza. His administration is going to work with our partners in the region to reconstruct this region.

And let me just take a step back here because this is an out of the box idea. That's who President Trump is. That's why the American people elected him. And his goal is lasting peace in the Middle East for all people in the region. And as I said in my opening remarks, we've had the same people pushing the same solutions to this problem for decades.

And it's been made very clear to the President that the United States needs to be involved in this rebuilding effort to ensure stability in the region for all people. But that does not mean boots on the ground in Gaza. It does not mean American taxpayers will be funding this effort. It means Donald Trump, who is the best dealmaker on the planet,

is going to strike a deal with our partners in the region.
