And then I take it to our everyday athletes who probably aren't as well versed on risks or, you know, hydration needs or even when you shouldn't be out in it.
I think the risks can be higher.
Well, we rely on the governing bodies, whether they're the international governing bodies or national, to actually make those calls in an informed manner.
For instance, in Tokyo at the Olympics, we talk about what's called wet bulb temperature, which kind of gives us, it basically tells us the measure of combined heat and humidity.
And they set a limit as to when we would stop competition.
I believe that was about...
32 degrees on the wet bulb temperature.
That can often coincide with temperatures around 30-ish degrees and 70 plus humidity.
We're relying on that for now.
At the moment, it doesn't happen.
I mean, you will have more and more
national sporting organisations coming together to say we're working in unsafe environments.
I think the welfare of athletes is always at a national sporting organisation's forefront when it comes to this kind of area with the heat or with the cold.
