And I think the way that you just described the peach coochin is very similar to what this peach ricotta cake looks like.

You make it in a nine-inch cake pan, you slice your peaches or your nectarines, and you can see the fruit.

And it's just like a golden buttery cake that I think is easy in the summer.

You can make it ahead of time.

And I would be serving this with vanilla ice cream for sure.

But there's a there's a tanginess about them.

What drew me to this particular recipe too was the ricotta because I think ricotta makes your cake a little bit more tender.

I I just love this whole recipe.

One of the farmers I worked for when I first moved to LA was a melon farmer.

We're always buying melons in the summer and eating them, just slicing them and eating them out of the fridge and eating them for breakfast.

But I love this idea of a melon cell that has all these savory elements.

I think that we're all kind of craving a version of that in the summer.

Yeah, I think that it totally adds to the flavor and wings they're gonna hold together differently than a piece of fish.
