Meanwhile, Iran's foreign minister posted on social media that a deal had, quote, never been closer to being reached.
Pakistan's prime minister also signaled that the deal was nearly finalized.
A senior Trump official also confirmed to reporters that the two sides were close, but added a bit of caution, saying most in Iran want to sign the deal, but, quote, not everybody.
adding that Iran's system is very complicated.
