How did you get it then if it wasn't available?
Pretty much, honestly.
So we were actually going to buy a property there.

You know, it was walkable-ish, you know.
But something didn't feel right about that lot and like that property.
And we kind of just like...

It just, it didn't fall through for a reason.

And when I was talking to my mom about, you know, trying to find property and everything, because we decided to build because of what we were telling you guys, like how none of the houses that were in the price range we thought was a good, like good investment or good idea because we didn't know what underlying conditions they were without like breaking up the walls, like all that kind of stuff with Hurricane Katrina.
And I'm like, we could probably build, since we know how to do a lot of it ourselves, we could probably build it for like the same price of like a brand new house or I mean one of those houses, you know, close to like a brand new house.
Like we probably could save like a hundred, $150,000 like by building it ourselves.
You're right.
So that's like that's the route we decided to go.
And and so anyway, my mom, I was expressing a lot of stuff and I was very stressed out at this point in time because she was pregnant with our son, which we didn't know he was a boy yet.
