I loved going to dance.
Even like grandparents and aunts and uncles, like we're just, we come together like every Saturday pretty much, like just to hang out.
Like that's just how we are.
And so yeah, setting those boundaries was super difficult.
It was a lot of hard conversations, a lot of like, you know, and I think we still have to set some, like as we're learning, as we're growing, you know.
That's when I think we really set those boundaries, was when we had kids.
The boundaries weren't, I'm not saying they weren't there, but I think they weren't as there until we had kids.
It was easier to set those boundaries once we had kids, just because they understand, okay, we raised y'all, y'all talking about me and my siblings, differently than how my parents raised us, so we'll respect how you guys are raising, when you decide to raise your kids.
What's an example of one of those boundaries?
A silly one?
Tell us the silly one.
A silly one is when we tell our daughter, no, you can't get on the table.
And my mom's like, yeah, yeah, you can get on the table.
And she puts her on the table to dance or whatever she does.
That's a really silly, dumb one.
But we didn't want our daughter to then go to restaurants and think she can get on the table, which that kind of wound up happening.
So that's a silly boundary, but that's kind of one of them.
I mean, they're pretty good.
