Anyway, so I was super shy, and then Michael Jackson passed away, which is actually 17 years ago today.
He passed away, and I did not know who he was at all, neither did Brielle, and we both fell in love with the art of performing, and we would literally copy his moves to a tee, and my family, I would hold a family dinner night where all my family came, aunts, uncles, grandparents, everything, and I would literally perform in front of the TV for them while they ate dinner, and I think it was that moment, it unlocked something for me, seeing how happy and in the moment they were because of something that I was doing,
That's like I never want to do anything but this.
And so I stuck with it.
I mean I still like to teach and everything still to this day.
But that moment was like
a light switch turned on, you know?
They speak Creole, but we're not in that area, kind of.
That's kind of more like...
I guess, do you guys have like a country kind of like feel in Arizona?
Like that's kind of like, or like that's the country?
I think that's kind of like the equivalent to like Cajun.
If that makes sense, yeah.
We're not really tapped into that just because we don't live in that area.
We know of it, you know, and like there's swamp tours and stuff like that where like Cajun people like bring you around and show you the alligators and where they live.
Alligators?
Yeah, you name it, they have it.
