A question I ask everyone on the podcast, how do you personally mind your being?
Do you have some particular practices or rituals that you could share with us?
It might not happen naturally, so sometimes make an effort.
It's good that you're aware of that, though.
And I've found the same thing with meditation.
I mean, unless you're a monk practicing 24 hours, we're not always going to be mindful.
We're doing a lot of the time, but...
What it teaches you is that awareness and that at any point in time, you can come back to yourself, your breath, mindful moments.
And as you said, yeah, you can come into the being instead of the doing or pursuing.
Yeah.
So it's something that's always available.
And I found it really helpful.
I initially came to it for stress reduction, stress technique.
Yeah.
I think a lot of people in the Western world anyway.
Yeah.
What it does, and like I've said before on here, it is probably apart from having therapy at different points in time, it is a thing that I think has helped me get most unstuck because I have had or still do at times that inflexible psychological thinking.
And meditation, mindfulness or listening to people speak
talk about consciousness and different things i think it it changes your perspective have you found that like you yeah like a more empathy more openness have you found any of that with the practice of mindfulness and and meditation like a perspective shift which carries with you you think differently in a way but i'm not sure how to articulate it i just encourage people
