Yeah, music is intensely therapeutic, depending whatever genre you're in.
I'm curious, how did you or when did you become aware that like intensity is opposite to meditation kind of thing?
So how did you become aware for you that intensity of exercise or, you know, heavy metal music is what can help you unwind?
Or someone else wouldn't do that.
Like for me, it's, I mean, I do like to exercise and sometimes with intensity.
So for me, it's not always about intensity.
It might be the calming or the breathing techniques or whatever, but it's what works for you.
And so it's taking the time to reflect, I guess, and try different things.
And it doesn't matter what it looks like to someone else.
If it works for you.
No one has it all together all the time with every situation.
Do you berate yourself and go, well, I'm a psychologist, I should know this.
That's great.
That's a great foundation.
I wish that for everyone.
I think a final point I wanted to touch on was we talked about earlier in the episode how adverse childhood experiences can shape the beliefs we have and we develop coping mechanisms to deal with things.
But
Just to give hope to people that either through their own reflection and experience or through engaging in therapy with professionals that we can update our beliefs.
We can develop new coping mechanisms.
