The holes in the back of these skulls, it's trepanation.
So it was a surgery that they see evidence of in lots and lots of ancient skulls.
And the question becomes, so if you don't have a sagittal suture and your brain, you know, we have the our brain will fuse.
Right.
As we grow.
In a lot of instances, these people survived these surgeries.
The question becomes, why were they doing it?
Well, if your brain doesn't have all of the sutures that ours does.
and your brain is fusing, there are some theories that suggest that these people were losing their connection with consciousness.
So because their brains were so big, a lot of telepathy and things like that.
So if you cut a hole in a fused skull, you still have access, right?
It allows you, I guess, more space in your skull to access what you used to access.
Oh my gosh, I've read about her.
And her motivation for that, was it not for consciousness?
Yeah.

It begs the question, what was the motivation for doing that in these ancient examples?
