And around about that time a lawsuit w was filed in the United States by Martha Nolan's mother.

And the details of that lawsuit reveal very conflicting versions of what might have happened on that boat that night she died.

And so the family uh filed a $50 million lawsuit against Mr.

Dernan, the owner of the boat.

I spoke to their lawyer over there in the family.

They have a lawyer named Michael Bowe, and he is representing them over there and he has an initiated.

This lawsuit, and he said that the basis of this was the fact that the family's postmortem, that second postmortem that they commissioned, is very much at odds with the one carried out by the state.

Now we don't know the results of any of these postmortems.

We're getting little bits of information, but the one that was carried out by the state, we know there were trace amounts of cocaine found in Martha Nolan's system.

System that has been established.

However, Mr.

Bow has said that there was not enough cocaine in her system to cause her death, given her youth and her health.

Now he has also said, um, and this is very significant, he said that according to their postmortem, that there was blood found in Martha's mouth on her chest and head and possibly behind.

Yeah.

This hasn't been made public, but he's revealing this in relation to his postmortem.

Now, we do know that the police had said there were no signs of violence, so there is a bit of a conflict here.

Now we don't know where the blood came from, why it's there, but the family obviously don't know either and they want to know the answers to all of these questions.

To get the answers they feel that perhaps going through the civil route will be more.
