That they're drafting before Parliament at the moment is a strange one.
You know, you've got um them wanting to change the intelligence community to stop being so defensive, more offensive.
Now, we've talked about this, haven't we, Mike, now what since the start of the Ukraine war, about how there are these new threats to all of Western Europe.
But it's only now that the German intelligence agencies might actually be able to
react to some of these acts that are against their country.
They might be able to, for example, you manipulate supply chains so as to stop things like explosives or other equipment falling into the wrong hands.
If this legislation goes through they might be able to do what many intelligence agencies around the world do already, which is, you know, provide potential attackers with false information so they wouldn't commit a crime.
Such a weird thing for a country like Germany to be just doing now, uh with such weak leadership at a time when it's most under threat from you
People or or governments who want to commit evil acts on its territory.
