look after her so she didn't feel isolated and she didn't tip into a complete kind of shame spiral and I don't know whether that was the right thing or not looking back I don't know whether I should have been much firmer with her from the onset but I don't think it would have helped I think she would have stopped talking to me because she was trapped she was completely trapped with him after a certain point

She was always reassuring.

And the problem is, is that I believed her because I think she believed it too.

I don't think she knew how much danger she was in.

It's just weird.
