There will be a limited number of licenses, so it won't be a free-for-all.
Anyone can just start up their own sports betting website.
And the rates at which states are taxing sports betting revenue, they really vary.
So Rhode Island is 51% of a sports book's revenue.
On the other end, New Jersey, seen as more friendly to sports books, the online tax rate is 13%.
So it's a slim profit margin business, and sports books are really going to be evaluating where it's going to be worth it for them and where it won't be.
