So how much would you say your recent novels, I mean, do you see this, obviously it's a standalone novel, do you see it as of a part with, say, Is Mother Dead and Will and Testament?
I mean, it's not so recent now.
How much are they about coming to terms with the past and making a choice about the future?
Because I think that's what particularly this book is about, isn't it?
Accepting that past, but also, and it ends on a note, I think, of really beautiful, I'm not going to spoil it, but about self-forgiveness perhaps as well, I think.
I think we all need to read this novel as well.
