The celebrity tabloid news outlet has recently turned its signature paparazzi prowess onto members of the U.S.

Congress, shaming lawmakers as they leave town during recess.

Last week, TMZ put out a call for tips on lawmakers' sightings, and the public responded.

Republican Senator Ted Cruz was also spotted at Fort Lauderdale.

But TMZ wasn't taking sides.

Among other sightings was Democrat Representative Robert Garcia at a Las Vegas casino.

TMZ founder and executive producer Harvey Levin said the outlet has been building up a presence on Capitol Hill and wanted to use their platform to show how, quote, "...Congress, Dems, and Republicans have betrayed us."
