So I just want to understand sort of, you know, we, we always refer to Lincoln as a Westerner and the, the idea of the book is what do we really mean by that?

And then also what was Lincoln's vision for the West during the civil war?

So this is a region we don't typically associate with this war that plays out in Virginia and Kentucky and Tennessee, but it, I think readers will be amazed about how much thinking Lincoln is thinking about Colorado and California and Oregon and all these places.
