A tough scene yesterday for Danny Hurley's brother as Iowa State crushed Arizona State in the Big 12 tournament.

The final score on that game, 91-42.

I believe it was the largest margin of defeat in Big 12 tournament history.

91-42.

45-16 at the half.

And Bobby Hurley is now out after 11 seasons with the Sun Devils.

It's tough for the program.

It's kind of like Bam Adebayo against the Wizards.

Jerry, Willie and Al were actually much more aligned on that, and I was more with Gio, which was kind of interesting.

I don't think I would have expected that.

The end was a sham.

Well, yeah, and in the TV I played, I think it was the Wizards call that even alluded to it, after he made the free throw to match Kobe at 81, they were like, okay, Eric Spolstra, out of respect, is going to take him out of the game, and then there's like this awkward pause, and they're like, actually, no, he's going to stay in the game.

So, yeah, I mean, and then I know after the game, Bam was kind of...

He used the line of, you know, Wilt, me, and Kobe.

So he clearly was very aware of it and proud of the fact that he was now between those two great icons.

I don't think that was a sign of disrespect towards Kobe.

But as far as the way he and his teammates went about getting there, it was a little weird.
