They think the politicians are crooks.

and that they're completely controlled by the donors.

And so that's the main thesis that the Young Turks have had for 20 years, and now almost everyone's coming around to it except legacy media.

And that's why people go, these guys are clowns.

They think that these politicians are honest actors and they're having real ideological debates.

No, they're just cashing checks.

So that's my critique of legacy media that I've had for decades, and I think the chickens are coming home to roost there.

Now, on the inauguration, so a lot of pomp and circumstance.

I hate pomp and circumstance.

The executive orders, there's the bucket of ones that we knew we were going to get, but we hate anyway.

Getting out of the Paris Climate Treaty, that's terrible.

We delay a real fix for four years, but we knew if Trump won that that was going to happen.

Then there's the ones that go beyond that, ending birthright citizenship, which is unconstitutional and mental and un-American and all those things.

But now, because we're fair, I will also say Trump has the optics and to some degree the reality of delivering for his base.

So when Democrats get into office, they go, well, we're not going to do anything.

You have to push us to do it.

And then when you go to push them to do it, they're like, how dare you push us, right?

So whereas Trump goes, you don't have to push me on anything.
