Because we so appreciate these amazing submissions and it would just be so nice, even if it was a token sum, just to be able to pay them back a little bit for their amazing work.
We live in this culture at the moment where art is considered to be free and where you listen to everything online for free and read everything online for free and we know how much work gets put into that.
Yeah, we want our contributors to know that we value the work, that we think it is worth, not just our love and appreciation and admiration, which we have, but also money, you know, that would be really nice.
But we're going to keep plodding on and, you know.
So I think that's the sort of first thing that we would do.
if we could do anything, we would pay our writers.
And I would love to do, like, my dream is one day we will have events in different places and we're going to have an event in Shakespeare & Co.
in Paris and have events in Boston so that Beth can finally go to some of our events.
