Although, I mean, I suppose at the very beginning we just had absolutely no idea if anyone was going to submit to us.
We emailed a few people who we knew.
So we'd put out, I think we emailed maybe 12 writers who we knew saying, we're doing this, we'd love to read work of yours, please submit.
And we were hoping that we would get something from all of them.
One of whom was Leah Sanders.
And we...
emails to the Scottish Poetry Library and similar places that have listings and put things out there.
And I think we got about 60, 70 contributions.
It steadily increased each time.
So we're now in treble figures, which means it takes more time each issue to get through them all.
For the first few months, three of us lived in Edinburgh, or that's not quite true.
I think two people lived in Edinburgh and I was here often enough that
Two and a half people lived in Edinburgh.
So that was okay and we would get together and have long evenings.
Now we have very long Skype chats.
Yeah, we have three continents and four countries where we're all based in.
And so obviously finding a time that's convenient for everyone in our different time zones is always an interesting one.
You've got some people sleepy because it's the morning and some sleepy because it's late at night.
I tend to be fine because...
But mainly we're pretty good.
