So I think this was sort of,
And that was very much born out of that.
And actually born out of the fact that I love listening to the SPL podcast, I think.
Yay, inspiration!
And so we had originally sort of thought about really producing each issue as an audio book, which is definitely still something that would be possible, but it's just something...
we would need to sit down and do it and sort of dedicate a day and obviously just with us based across the world so Trevor's in Abu Dhabi at the moment Beth is in a northeastern is she Boston it's not quite Boston I think she's in Massachusetts but sometimes it's Massachusetts and sometimes it's New Hampshire but we would like to do that that at some point we release an entire magazine as a package so we would also record the letter from the editors and sort of
everything from beginning to end and our arts directors notes at the end which I also particularly love but at the moment it's sort of the podcast with us talking a bit about news so if we have something out if we have an event coming up if we have submissions open and say hey you guys should submit and then we'll have a piece or two sometimes read by me sometimes read by the author so Niall read his own pieces that was how we originally actually met in person that's correct yeah
which was lovely and then again in your when we managed to get our claws in the editor in the author then we also get our clothes in the editors this happened um yeah I don't know but we then also do a mini interview quite often that's maybe what I meant earlier with the whimsy is around the magazine is we take
the literature incredibly seriously and we take the design incredibly seriously, we do not take ourselves seriously, as you can tell.
It is a lot of work.
And I mean, that's, for me at the moment, possibly by the time this podcast comes out, it'll be different.
But at the moment, there's some great sorts of sadness that I have so much to do and...
would love to do a podcast every week and it's not feasible at all.
But I mean, there's the mixture.
It's fun.
We love doing it.
It's all on the fame and money.
I mean, we read wonderful, wonderful writing and sort of proofreading is this beautiful moment where
You have this issue that you've put together and we have so many talented writers and we think they come to us.
And you get to read that again and again and again until you get all of the misplaced commas out.
