With with trucks, you know, you gotta wonder why that film was made too, because the the critical reception of this film wasn't all that good at the time.
And of course we know Mr.
King dislikes it.
Uh he's got on record by saying he hates this film the most.
But he's waffled back and forth on what he considers the worst.
But he usually says his film is the worst that he made.
Um but at the time, you know, this was not well received and I think it was a box office bomb, but then of course they remade trucks in Canada in the in the nineties, so you gotta wonder why.
Ha ha ha ha.
Someone says, Hey, they never made a film about trucks before.
Just 'cause this film wasn't called Trucks.
Oh sure.
I mean and you know trucks
Is is a much weaker film than than this.
I think Trux has its moments.
Uh, I like how it looks, and it certainly takes itself quite a bit more seriously than this one does, but uh Trux, if you'd pardon the pond, it does not have a lot of get up and go.
Um it's a fairly decently made film, but there's
More sitting around in trucks than in this.
You know, and plus because Trucks is a T V film, there's not a lot of violence either.
Uh tonally though it's a little more successful if you want something closer to the story, but the trucks doesn't have ACDC in it.
You know Yeah, that's a that's an interesting point of view.
