And of course, the A1PE 330 uses that industry standard RMSC footprint, which is like the micro micro red dot footprint, or it's the one that everybody should use.
A lot of pistols use this footprint for direct mounting to the slide.
Of course, oddly enough, the RMSC footprint is also used on some 1911 and 2011 full-size pistols.
Having that industry standard footprint really makes the 330 stand out for mounting on various styles of pistols, of course.
Included with the optic is a bunch of various size mounting screws, so finding the correct screw for your mounting surface is super easy.
I always like it when companies put those extra mounting screws in.
That way I don't have to hunt them down in my screw bin, which my screw bin consists of a whole bunch of other parts, unfortunately.
So we all know how that goes.
Now, when it comes to powering the PE330, they use a CR1620 battery.
Now, of course, this is slightly thinner than the 1632s that a lot of the RMSC footprint red dots use.
AimWin states a 20,000-hour battery life.
So even though it's not as long as some of the others, it's still plenty long, which is still technically like four years.
Yeah.
AimWin also designs the P330 with a side load battery.
So when you do need to change the battery, it's super easy to do.
It won't affect your zero.
Now, of course, something I don't see a lot with other red dots is they do include extra battery tray screws.
So, of course, if you strip one out or do something like that,
you can always find they give you an extra couple which i thought was pretty cool because those are the ones you're most likely once it's mounted gonna lose now
The PE330 just isn't a red dot alone.
