It's the only purpose for me even being saved.
Well, I think that I'm not convinced of this because that's what I want to believe.
Like, I'm convinced of this because I'm convinced of the truth of the Holy Scriptures.
And again, when you look at the thing from a 30,000-foot view, I'm convinced of that.
Because why would I want to believe that?
Why would I want to?
If I wrote this story, would it not give me something to cling to?
If I wrote the story, would it not give me some other purpose than just being offered up
as a bride to the glorification of the Son, Jesus Christ?
Like, if I wrote that story, wouldn't I write it differently than that?
Because I'm man, right?
I would leave myself something to cling to.
Surely, this salvation means something more than
than just that I am part of this special people now being offered up as a bride to Christ.
Surely there's something that I can do in this life, a choice that I can make to believe in this.
Like surely I have the power to make that choice.
But if I had the power to make the choice to believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ in and of myself,
then that salvation would be coming from me.
You see what I'm saying?
When you realize you don't even have the power of choice in you, you are dead.
