You need to source great candidates.
For us, that's 100 plus applicants for every role that we hire for.
I know that sounds like a lot.
It's really important.
Garbage in, garbage out.
If you don't have good applicants or enough, well, then you have no choices.
And if you don't have context, like you just interview one person that hired them, you don't know if they're good because you have no comparison.
You have no point of reference.
So then you need to, so obviously source grade candidates select the best ones through a rigorous hiring process assessment, whatever, and then sell them on marketing for you.
Because if they're good,
They probably don't need to come work with you.
And why would they?
Why wouldn't they take some other job or stay working where they're currently working?
And so those are the four S's of hiring from a book called Who.
It's one of my favorite hiring books.
That's our methodology.
And then you can layer AI on top of that.
And I've just as recently as literally this weekend have done that.
And using AI to go filter applicants, figure out who's good, who's not, reach out to people who have applied for all similar roles like this with us in the past.
Email them, say, hey, we've got a new role that we're hiring for that seems like it's a fit for you.
