And I think these reasons are fascinating.
So I think the biggest thing here, one of the biggest things, is that she was an independent contractor.

So apparently for sexual harassment to take place, you have to have someone you have to be a subordinate to an actual employer because an employer has a lot of power over their employees.
Employees depend on their employer to
basically live, right?
That's their livelihood is working for their employer.
So there is a very real power imbalance.
The power dynamic has to be there.
And if the power imbalance is not there, you don't get these protections under the law because the law is set out
To protect the vulnerable.
Right.
And so – and I think one thing that I heard – I listened to several podcasts on this.
I watched a lot of videos.
I read a lot of, like, posts from lawyers and everything.
I really tried to, like, let this information percolate.
One of the things, you know, one of these experts said is that the sexual harassment law is not really to, like –
It's not for people to litigate like, you know, just like disputes between themselves about if one person felt uncomfortable, if that makes sense.
It's about like somebody who is in a position of less power than another person and how they are protected by the law.
Yeah.
