But what I found also interesting in the coming together of the person I consider our most pro-American prime minister, that would be Stephen Harper, and our most pro-European, Mark Carney, is the fact that I spent the years before Trump returned and then we had the federal election telling audiences that in Canada we work in cycles.
So we usually put up with the party and government for about a decade and then we kick them out and we switch to the liberals and back to the conservatives.
