I don't see us having productive negotiations that result in a deal that you need to sell to Canadians before the Quebec election October fifth or the Alberto referendum October nineteenth.
Uh so and by then uh I'm guessing we're getting really close to the midterms.
But I I I I don't see Mark Carney asking the premier
of Quebec uh to accept concessions in the middle of an election campaign where he's clearly cheering for her and not for the main opponent uh that is the Pazquéqua.

Oh, well, someone forgot to tell the climate gods that we were busy dealing with other stuff.
And so the climate crisis should be put on hold.
That is the reality that while priorities have shifted for short term political reasons.
The climate issue, and I don't just mean Canada here, I mean globally, the climate issue is still there.
And it's not going to wait for us to get our attention back on it and to reduce emissions.
And with the United States literally bailing out actively, proactively,
demolishing efforts to reduce emissions with the economic consequences that we've seen and the follow-up on it by other countries.
What you are getting to is slowly but surely a point
where we are now into trying to live with climate change.
And it's going to get worse, by the way.
I don't need to be some prophet of doom to know that.
Anybody who's seen the science actually knows that.
