You know, he didn't do anything to me.

He never touched me, but it was the psychological, you know, and actually other things that I've been through in my life.

For me, psychological abuse is worse than physical abuse.

I'd rather be hurt than have the mental torture because physical abuse,

You heal scars, you know, but it's mental torture.

You know, you can't get away from your brain, can you?

You can't switch it off.

So, yeah, that was definitely when things started to go bad.

Yeah.

And I carried on.

I stayed at the agency for maybe a few more months and then I left in the end.

A hundred percent.

I needed it.

I felt he made me feel like I needed him.

Yeah.

I never sort of like grew up, you know, even in my late teens, early 20s, like being desperate to become a mum.

But I took for granted that if I wanted to be, I would be one.

And so I was actually told by doctors I'd never be able to have children naturally.

And it would be very unlikely even if I had a child through IVF.

So when I was told that I wouldn't, when I was told that information, it was devastating because I had, you know, everything financially and materialistically in my life, but I couldn't have that one thing, you know.
