These are the types of clubs.
Swansea, but although they're ever going to change of manager, it looks like Michael Duff's coming in.
The point I'm trying to make is we're going to have to go some from a recruitment standpoint just to stand still.
The other thing as well is there's a lot of players outgoing that, again, you've got to replace almost just to stand still.
So you've got Cresswell, Shackleton, Malone, Bennett, Burey, Burke, Afobi, which we never replaced, and Stiles.
So Stiles, for me, listen, like there's a lot of stuff that we've been talking about on Twitter and various forums and things.
And I think at the end of the day, we don't know the facts, right?
From my perspective, and it's just my opinion,
We have decided not to sign Callum Styles.
I think that
we've made that decision essentially based on a return on investment decision.
We think that the money that it would cost to sign him, don't know what that fee is, would be better spent elsewhere.
And I think that there's no doubt he's a quality player and there's no doubt in that he has resale value because he's only 22, 23 years old.
But I think the injuries that he had last season meant we didn't see the best of him.
And the club have obviously decided that it's better to spend that money elsewhere.
I'm personally disappointed.
But until I know, A, how much he's going to go for, because if it's three million, I don't blame the club.
If it's one and a half, then I think they're silly not to.
And then B, where that money gets spent.
