And I felt we addressed those last season.

And it could have been a calamitous summer window for us.

And I don't think it was.

And I think overall, especially when you had Styles into the mix,

On paper, his injuries obviously hampered him.

And we'll talk a bit about that when we come on to what we need for this preseason and over the summer.

But I think overall, in the context of a standard Millwall transfer window, I think we can give last season's transfer window a thumbs up.

It wasn't mind-blowing, but when you compare it to years that have gone by where we have really struggled to bring in players that have moved us on and moved us forward, I think you have to give it overall thumbs up.

The difference is, as I said in my post-match chat against Blackburn game, the difference is the teams that got in the playoffs have had two free years or seasons, so sort of

four, five, six transfer windows of good windows.

We haven't had that.

We've had one, maybe two.

So it's about building on that and progressing nicely.

So I think overall, it was a step in the right direction.

The second thing that I think went well last season was I genuinely think we're getting the best out of the group we've got.

I really do.

And I've said this before.

I don't think on paper our team should be in the top six.

I don't.

And I think that with the players we've got and the finances we have, and I know people don't like to hear it about we're punching and that kind of stuff.
