The legislative branch is part of the executive branch now.

There's really no judicial branch that's part of the executive branch now.

The Republicans are right now the MAGA folks who are mainly white.

They are in control of everything now, and they're not going back.

And so I think we have to start over with a clearer eye and a clearer vision about how we move forward, because this sort of piecemeal effort and hoping that someone is going to come around, they're never going to come around.

I did a talk with a congresswoman who I love, and I said, what do we do?

People were asking, it was a virtual town hall.

What do we do?

And she said, oh, we just need three or four Republicans to come over.

And I said, that's never going to happen.

And I think it's the same way with the country.

It's never going to happen.

You're never going to get them to understand the moment that we're in or even just accept us for who we are.

Okay, so first I want to say that

I do respect the people who do the work of coalition building and branch building or whatever.

But the big but in that sense, but that is not me.

I don't have the time.

I have zero patience for trying to convince someone to come out of a cave.

I agree.
