And I'm someone who has repeatedly on social media called for respect for this process to say, look, let's not jump to conclusions.
Let's wait until we have the information so that we can do this without.
assuming that certain things are in play when they're not or they don't where we don't know that they are.
But it's getting harder and harder and harder for me, even as someone who has respect for the integrity of the process and understands the job that prosecutors have to do to make that sort of call with the absence of transparency that we are seeing from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
let's keep you know let's be honest about this right obviously there is first and foremost a concern for nolan wells because he is no longer here and his family is the victim answers as a victim uh but as but you are right if you are talking about individuals some of whom all of whom none of whom may have had something to do with this
They also deserve the transparency because it will help sort the wheat from the chaff, so to speak, in terms of like who it is that needs to be the focus and who needs to be sort of left alone in this moment.
I do want to go back to Kasim's point because there's another sort of element to this that's playing out that I don't think people really fully appreciate.
The police and investigators and prosecutors have had minimal contact with Benjamin Crump, the legal team, and the Nolan Wells family in part because
because they understand the large nature and the scale of Benjamin Crump's platform.
And so as they understand that they cannot gag without a court order, Benjamin Crump or the family from talking about what is and is not being done, they are concerned, more likely than not,
that giving ben crump information and putting that information into the family's hands could result in that information getting out to the public and the public reacting and then putting more pressure on themselves so their ill-advised response to that has been a total sort of information blackout for this family and for their attorney such that they've not
allow them to have the information for fear of them going to the public and explaining to the public what's going on.
So it's not even a matter of them themselves not being transparent with the family.
They're trying to basically shield the amount of information that the family has so that they can convey that to the public, which is another layer of deeply problematic practices that I'm seeing unfold from the investigators in this matter.
But they're comfortable talking about it, even though they don't know what it is.
How about that?
So here's the thing.
