She wasn't doing interviews and everyone, I remember the day that she
went into court and actually testified on her own behalf about why she wanted out of the conservatorship, that was remarkable.
It was the first time we'd actually heard in Britney's words how she felt about the conservatorship.
So hearing this from Wendy now is much different from Britney's situation.
And, you know, even when we did hear from Britney, there were still, the way people described it, like she definitely seemed
kind of out of it.
And I know that Wendy's family wants to compare this to Britney saying, you know, get free Wendy going.
There's a difference here in that with Britney, we very clearly saw that she was in dire straits and was close to death.
And her father stepped in and formed this conservatorship, which I know years later, people felt like he was taking advantage, although there's been
no evidence of that and that really he helped save her life.
But I get that people felt like he shouldn't be in control and he shouldn't be the one who is in control of this conservatorship.
We don't have that with Wendy.
We don't have, you know, what we saw in that Lifetime documentary last year
You know, that was it was very clear in the documentary that she was in the grips of alcoholism.
And we've spoken to people with some direct knowledge about what's going on with Wendy.
And they say that, look, she definitely had a problem with alcohol.
That's clearly not the case now.
And you I mean, you tell me you spoke to her.
Was there any moment where you felt she was out of it?
Not really, you know, in her full senses?
