He was from upstate New York originally, went to the University of Tampa, and got with two of his rowing and fraternity brothers and picked a spot on the map.
And it was Atlanta.

And so over 25 year bar and restaurant career, that was the business that I grew up in.

So work and restaurants was something I was around my entire life for the good and the bad.
A lot of ups, ups and downs for our family and our
Economics, to be honest with you, a lot of really big success.
And then by the time I was coming along and hit third, fourth, fifth grade, the money somewhat dried up, the restaurants closed.
So got to got to see that roller coaster ride.
My mother for a long time was a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines.
And for her, she's always said it was some of the few opportunities for females back then.
