I don't know.
But other than that, man, I don't think it's, to me, it's not that difficult if you can do certain things.
First, you got to want it.
A couple of things.
I think... I don't know if... I think you have to have a mentality in terms of making plays.
Like...
I can know what the offense is going to do, but if my only objective is to stop you from doing it but not to take the ball away, then I've left part of that game out.
So if I knew a route combination was coming up, that they was going to run a little pin route, two receivers going to sit down at five, and then this guy's going to run the dig, I'm not trying to be so on top of him that they don't necessarily throw the ball.
But I wanted to throw it because I want to attack it to get the pick.
So I think you have to have a mindset to want to pick it off and not go in for a tackle or a pass break or something like that.
So that part of it, you got to be a little bit different in that respect.
The other thing, one of my biggest pet peeves is guys don't turn around and find the ball.
It's too many times I see guys...
And they're tall.
I know for a fact guys are tall.
Play through the hands.
Man, fuck them hands, man.
You know what I'm saying?
Especially, and I try to tell my young guys on my son's team, I'm like, you got to be confident in yourself enough and not panic to where you can read that receiver down the field.
