Like, you know, I think the albums that I make are inherently connected because I,
the next record that comes after the previous one is like a response to it.
So when I'm thinking about music, fashion, film in ways that is polar opposite to brat, um, because brat was so, uh, yeah, like very, it was very blunt.
It was very off the cuff.
It was, um, having these conversational songs and, um,
sort of talking about like living on the internet and the way that that affects um me as a person and things like that whereas like music fashion film is much more me talking more in depth about my process and the way that i um think about
the way my life kind of changed during Brat.
Absolutely.
And, you know, everything that happened during Brat has been so influential to the songs that I'm writing for Music Fashion Film.
how could it not be?
You know, it's like, I went through an experience that I had not gone through before in that, you know, my work was kind of opened up to this whole new audience who perhaps didn't really know like my history as an artist, which is totally fine.
You know, that happens and that, and I'm so grateful that that did happen.
Um, but with that, you know, comes this sort of like, um, I don't know, like, uh, it
people obviously really associate me with that album and all the things that came with the album.
And in a way they kind of, it becomes these sort of like cartoonish personality traits, you know, like the kind of like girl who loves the color green and like smokes cigs and like wears sunglasses.
It's like,
And like, yes, that is a huge part of who I am.
It's also just a fraction of who I am.
And I think that's the thing that I find really interesting about being an artist, particularly in this day and age.
It's like, I think people are really excited to understand you.
