I mean, I guess a combination of respect for their opponents and I guess physically Simeone must have felt they wouldn't be able to play with the kind of intensity they did for that period in the second half all game because it seemed like an odd choice.
He ran a great run and sort of charged past Llorente, got a good cross in for a good chance for Odegaard.
Right.
So, yeah, he did kind of what I think was hoped that he would do when he was signed.
And it is a great penalty.
I mean, well, it's savourable where it is.

Look, when you first watch it, you think, right, that's in the corner, sort of Harry Kane style.
It's not, but it's just hit with such force.
If you hit a ball that cleanly, you've got a decent chance.
