That place was as loud as I've heard it in a long time.
And
Not to say that everything else is gravy.
Fans are still going to want them to make a run in the playoffs.
Surely the players do too.
But it does feel like this season is now already a success because this wasn't necessarily expected.
I would say that there are still people who don't like him, but they have gone relatively quiet.
Most people have been happy with what he's done, particularly since the Olympic break.
And, and to be fair, I mean, there were changes made and some of those changes were things that
fans had wanted for a long time.
You know, Mati Mishkov was moved from left wing, which is where we're talking about him playing since November, back to his natural right wing spot.
Trevor Zegers was moved to the middle, which went a long way towards improving the Flyers down the middle and addressing a key weakness.
They made some structural tweaks with the offense, played a little bit more of a rush-based game.
So it was easy for a lot of fans to kind of
let bygones be bygones with Taka when a lot of the changes he made were things that they wanted him to make for months.
But I think in the end, where a lot of this anger came from, where a lot of this frustration with Taka came from was
it was just general frustration with the state of the franchise and the team and, and this, and this long playoff drought, like talking was just kind of in the way in a lot of ways.
I mean, some of it, you know, was, was things that he specifically did to be sure, namely, you know, the fact that Mafia Mishkoff was having a disappointing sophomore season and,
talk.
It was, was, was making comments pretty regularly in the media, bringing up that he didn't come to camp in the best of shape, which is true.
