Officials say employment levels were mostly unchanged in eight of the Fed's 12 regional districts.
According to the report, wages grew at, quote, a moderate pace, with multiple contacts reporting that wage growth had returned to normal levels.

Boeing warned operators in 2011 that a key structural component found cracked in the plane involved in November's fatal crash of a UPS freighter had failed on prior occasions.
Safety investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board said the planemaker issued a service letter in February of that year notifying MD-11 operators of four past failures on three different planes of a part known as the spherical bearing race.
