When I had We Don't Talk anymore in my head, I knew that the melody was going to be like, there was a point in time where it was going to divvy up to I knew that those notes were going to be in it, but I didn't know that I was going to be singing it in the heavens and high.
There was going to be guitar in it.
So it's kind of like a blurry image of what it could be.

I think a common misconception is that I just have it on all the time and it just gets in the way of life.
It's kind of like it's there if I need it.
It's very literal.
If you are on a walk outside and you are around some trees...
and those trees are green, and you're just having a good conversation with your friend, you're not looking at the trees and thinking, those are green trees.
You're just, you know, you're talking to your friend, and you just happen to be around green trees.
And if you choose to, like, you know, if she's, or he's, you know, talking about something boring, you just, you know, divert your attention to the trees.

I definitely feel the disappointment and I never, never want it to happen.
But the issue was that I had lost my voice that day entirely.
And I can't give the show that I know I can give when I can't sing at all.
It would just be a waste of everybody's time.
So it was a really hard decision.
That we had to make, but I had to put the health first and I will make it up to everybody one day, but it's just something I had to do in the moment.
