If people are intrigued as to how their favorite food's made, how the McNuggets are made, why wouldn't they be intrigued of how their favorite songs are made?
Well...
Yeah, because it was a different time in the industry where we had to
with all these political reasons.
Oh, you don't want to get in the way of this artist's release.
Oh, we have to talk to this person and this, but we have to play the record to this person first.
None of that stuff really exists anymore.
It's just if your audience interacts with the song, then the song grows.
AKA the song has to be good and has to like hit the zeitgeist a little bit.
But we had the song done in September.
That's when the song was done when I made that video.
And then the song came out in January.
And still did really, really well.
I regret not putting it out sooner, though.
But it was a very transitional point in the music industry.
Absolutely.
I don't really worry about schedules too much.
And I don't worry about like, oh, if you put a song out and no one's going to understand it right away, maybe they're not meant to understand it right this second.
Maybe this song has to come out to give them perspective to then go back to that song.
Or maybe they don't understand both songs, but then they see me play it at Madison Square Garden and
