You know, the cumulative impact here could be people uh r renewing b paying an extra two hundred to three hundred Euros, you know. matched

Uh you have interest rates going up on if you have a tracker, Netflix has gone up and PRSI. matched

Yeah, this is an analysis done by bonkers.ie, but s essentially what we're talking about is all of these different increases that I've talked about, they total up over a full year about a thousand euros, and the best we can probably expect is five hundred euros in a tax break. matched

That's based on a billion and ten or a week. matched

So you're you get maybe five hundred Euros b you know of a tax lower tax, but it's double again in in price rises. matched

So you g you it's gonna be wiped out. matched

The tax benefit you get will be wiped out by these price increases is the point here. matched

So, you know, it's gonna be very tough for people. matched

And as you say, there's probably more coming. matched

If the Americans, which they're talking about doing now, restrict exports of diesel, that will send diesel prices up even higher. matched

And in France this week, they're uh restricting access there's there's a a run on diesel and petrol, you know, there's uh matched

uh a shortage basically. matched

So you know sorry, no good news as as usual. matched

But you know, uh the budget will need to we do an awful lot of things. matched

I'm not sure it's capable of doing what it's what people hope it'll do. matched
