Human organisms um

Or um

have different persistence and identity criteria from persons.

Um and what I'm thinking about is something like

the idea that you could have a

human organism may be a

fetus or maybe a baby.

um that isn't y that doesn't yet have the self consciousness or first person perspective

To use a different description.

This is Lynn Baker's description.

Of a person.

So you could have a human organism that didn't have the characteristics that are essential to being a person.

And I mean a human organism would have its own

persistence conditions and

essential characteristics but not they would be different from that of a person.

And so in the uh constitution ontology that I'm using in this chapter

Uh we say a hum we s we I don't know who we are, but but one might say a human organism constitutes a person, right?
