She's one of those actresses who is kind of known for her great body, you know, and also like a great talent.
But you know how, this probably sounds a bit weird, but Helen Mirren has really great boobs.
Like, I don't know if you've ever really looked at them.
But in the course of my research, I had to look closely at Helen Mirren's boobs.
She, like not personally, just like on the internet.
So that kind of bearing, you know, that sort of, and she's a very, very great actress, Adele, but by the time the book opens, she hasn't had a job in a year.
She's been living with her younger girlfriend, Liz, who's in her 50s, so Adele's 72, I think.
And on the morning that she's getting on the train to go to the beach house, she sort of realises that Liz has just broken up with her in a way that is sort of subtle, but Liz says something like, look, when you get back, we need to have a talk.
And she's like...
And then she realizes what this means, which is she's alone again.
And she's a very hard person to keep down, Adele.
She's optimistic.
And I think like a lot of people who work in the arts,
her mantra about money has always been, something will turn up, it always has, it always will.
So she's got this sort of optimism, she's kind of unsquashable.
