I think there's something to be said about changing your environment and going to a new place to learn.

Yes, because sometimes we can really be stuck in our day to day routine, which I love routine.

Don't get me wrong, but like bringing yourself out of that every now and then and really being able to experience something in person, I think is really beautiful.

And in this retreat, we're going to be learning by doing.

We're going to be engaging in the drum circle and also meeting other people who are like minded.

And I think learning by doing is also a very specific modality that I love.

And for an interview, I love that you come away with transcription and notes, but you're not sacrificing the need to be fully engaged the entire time.

Yeah, that's my favorite part too, because in the meeting or in the interview, you can be curious, you can ask better follow-up questions, you can actually follow their line of thinking and dig into it more.
